In partnership with the Institute of International Education (IIE), Cargill India has announced the list of awardees of the 8th edition of Cargill Global Scholars Program 2020. For this academic years, 10 scholarships have been awarded to students from Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, Delhi and Gandhinagar, National Institute of Technology Tiruchirappalli, Indian Institute of Science Bengaluru and Lady Shri Ram College for Women.
Under the two-year scholarship program, selected students will receive scholarship funds of US$2,500 per year for up to two years.
The program will be onboarding three new reputed institutions; ICAR-National Dairy Research Institute, Karnal for their B.Tech. (Dairy Technology) program, Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana for their B.Tech. (Food Technology) program and University of Agricultural Sciences, Bengaluru for B.Tech (Ag.Engg) and B.Tech (Food Tech) programs. Students selected from these institutions will be awarded scholarships next year, which includes financial support as well as leadership development opportunities under the program.

This year we have added three more institutes from the field of agricultural science and we believe that our association with these institutions will help expand our vision to more young talent and build a strong foundation for their academic and career growth.”
